MedCodes - medical coding course

We make the CPT book visual - the words come to life - take on the shapes they represent. During the course, you will learn

  • how to use the book by understanding its organization (so you can quickly and easily find a procedure)
  • the numbers associated with each body system (so you learn to recognize which codes refer to which body system)
  • the body system where procedures for each unique body part is found
  • how to read the CPT's unique conventions (separate procedures, modifiers, formatting, indented procedures, global surgery package).

During the course, you use the CPT to answer questions. After completing the twenty-one lessons, the CPT is an old familiar friend and the codes for each system are embedded in memory. You need this course to perform accurately and quickly when you work with codes. Especially today with the emphasis on costs, you need this first step for the firm foundation to build toward excellence.

When you register for the course, you will receive three months access. Successfully complete the course and you can print your own certificate.
